Maria Louise Ann Sullivan was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and resides in Madison Alabama. She studied at the University of North Alabama and graduated Manga Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Vocal Performance in Music. Miss Sullivan studied voice under Dr. Tiffany Bostic- Brown and Dr. Gretchen Windt. As a vocalist, Miss Sullivan has traveled to perform in places such as Italy, and in the United States, performing alongside choruses such as UNA’s Chamber Choir Tour, and Walk with Me Foundation's Solas. Along with performing, Miss Sullivan teaches young musicians in music and assists with classes on theory and sight-singing.

 

Her past performances include the following: "Gretel" from Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel,  “Musetta” from Puccini’s La Boheme“ Juliet” in  Gound’s  Romeo and Juliette, “Little Red Riding Hood” in Into the Woods, “Cendrillon” in Cinderella,  and “Spirit 2” in Mozart’s Magic Flute, while working backstage in costume, set, or make up. Maria Sullivan also participates in numerous ensembles such as the following: UNA Chamber Choir, Walk with Me Foundation Solas, and UNA Opera and Musical Theater, and Concerto conducted by Randel Z. Stroop. Miss Sullivan has also placed in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition as a semi-finalist in 2015 and 2016.
